Please try to use this function if you have a problem to convert charset iso-8859-11 to UTF-8. I would like to know if there is an easy / direct way to convert from UTF8 to iso-8859-1. This function I use convert Thai font (iso-8859-11) to UTF-8. But the data in UTF8 has been previously upconverted from ISO, so I should not miss anything. I know that UTF8 domain is bigger than ISO 8859.

When using character-based parsers, (like XMLNSC, or JSON), it's usually sufficient for input to specify the input ccsid on the FileInput node, or for output to set the, and let the parser performs the conversion automatically. My software is getting some strings in UTF8 than I need to convert to ISO 8859 1. I am using SFTP mechanism of the file input( pull utf-8 ) and output node(Push EBCDIC).
